General Rules:
1.) You are to wear the "Sadistic" Pearl at all times during events. Period. If you can’t represent and be part of "Sadistic", you don’t deserve to be here. 2.) You are to be online, ready for events BY the gather together time, not at. Example: Linkshell message says to gather at 7:00 PM. You are to be at the zone, ready to go, at 7:00 PM. Not 7:30, not 7:15. It’s not just your own time you’re wasting, it’s everyone’s. 3.) You are required to attend LS events, skipping is not an option. If you choose to skip the event, you will be docked points, as well as possibly earn yourself a strike. (We do not consider real life reasons for not being able to attend skipping, however if we find you doing something else in FFXI, example: meriting, missions, campaign battle, etc... this is considered skipping and will be punished.) 4.) If you need to leave early, inform an officer and give the reason why, this may prevent you from being docked the points you would normally earn from the close of an event. 5.) Going AFK multiple random times is NOT acceptable. If you need to AFK, verbalize it in LS or in tell to officer/leader, and please spend the least amount of time AFK as possible. We will provide windows for members to take AFK breaks during long events, so please try to stay as long as possible. 6.) /Follow while AFK is bad. You will be D2’ed. AFK following will get you killed, and we aren’t turning our events into a rescue mission if you die. 7.) You are responsible for bringing your own Meds/RR items; this includes sneak/invis items. 8.) If an officer tells you to do something, do it. If you think the officer is wrong in what they say, confirm the officer’s request with the leader. Refusal to follow directions will earn a strike.
Sky Rules: 1.) No AFK during God fights without an emergency reason. 2.) Bring meds for sneak/invis, there’s a lot of magic aggro in sky. (Yes, this means you mages.) 3.) Learn your way around sky, taking 45 minutes to get everyone to Byakko island is not acceptable. 4.) Follow officer instructions during fights, no debating. 5.) Listen and participate (if you so wish) in the private lotting for items, however, if it is found that you and possibly other members are trying to exploit the lotting system, you will be given a strike, or a possible suspension from the LS. We do not tolerate exploitation of our lot system here.
Dynamis Rules: 1.) Be on time waiting for your hourglass, accept the fact that rarely we may be delayed entering for one reason or another (lack of specific jobs, etc.) 2.) Bring medicine for the run, if you don’t know what to bring, as an officer, or ask in LS. Example: Some mobs use silencega, so echo drops would be needed. 3.) All members are to place their hourglass in their bazaar for 1g after they enter Dynamis. No exceptions. If you do not have your glass in your bazaar 20 minutes into the run, you will be D2’ed. 4.) Follow directions. There will be times when everyone will be required to stand in certain areas, or stand up and not rest. When an officer/leader commands members to do something like “Everyone stand up!” it is expected that all members comply. Failure to comply will cause your hourglass to be purchased and you will be removed from Dynamis, along with receiving a strike for ignoring officer commands. 5.) We are aware that dynamis can last a long time, and we also understand people may need to afk for one reason or another. We will allow for breaks every so often, however, if you are not back in time before we start, your glass will be purchased, and you will be unable to attend the rest of the event. 6.) If you need to afk for an emergency, please inform the leader or an officer. 7.) If you have to leave half way through the event, please inform leadership before you even enter the run. You may be a crucial member, and if the leadership doesn’t realize you are leaving, it can damage plans they may have made for the run. 8.) No members are to lot on currency, Wootz Ores. They may only lot on AF2 pieces if they have that job set in their comment, or the piece of AF2 is called freelot. (Be aware if it is called Primary Freelot, you have to have a job at level 75 to lot.) 9.) At the 10 minute warning, all members are required to start passing currency. At the 3 minute mark, any dead will have their glasses purchased so the currency/items can be passed on.
General Behavior: 1.) Treat "Sadistic" members and officers with respect. The same as you enjoy a drama free environment, so do we. If you have a conflict with another members or officer, talk to a different officer or the leader. 2.) Respect other shells. Yes, as much of a joke as they can be sometimes, treat them with respect. Act professionally, act kindly, you’re representing all of us with that "Sadistic" pearl on your head. Remember: the people you put down today could be tomorrow’s possible recruits. 3.) Watch what you say. Keep linkshell chat PG, PG-13 at most. Crude language is not tolerated, as it can annoy some members having to put up with it over, and over. 4.) Have fun. This is a game, it should be treated as such, real life is always more important.
